Outdoor concert this weekend!

It's going to take a little longer than they expected to get the repairs done at the post office.  Cleve Hunnicutt has agreed to let them use some space at the feed and garden store to distribute mail in the meantime.  We noticed that the mail we picked up today smelled faintly of fertilizer, but it included a letter from my Aunt Lucy so that could account for the odor.
Our youngest son Wayne has started dating a very nice young lady from Plantsburg.  Her daddy is a professor at the Agriculture and Vocational College where she is enrolled in the feedlot management program.  That will come in handy considering the way Wayne eats.
We're all looking forward to the community orchestra's first outdoor concert of the summer tomorrow night.  They'll be playing selections by Bach, Gershwin and Earl Scruggs.
And that's what's happening in Hoake's Mill.
Love,
Caroline
